For many people, a cupcake is the perfect dessert with just the right amount of cake and frosting to satisfy their sweet tooth. A popular cupcake tower features a series of circles or squares that are separated by a center base between each layer. This type of cupcake tower can have few or many layers and can easily be made at home with heavy cardboard and materials such as Styrofoam. Some cupcake towers can be quite large especially when people order cupcakes as dessert for large parties and other events.
