Potluck Party

My friends and I would usually hold potluck parties every other week in order for us to catch up and have some time to spend with each other. We have been friends ever since we were kids, and despite our differences we have stayed the best of friends. We would assign a place where we will hold these gatherings so one would not have to be burdened about having it in her home all the time.

One of the things I would often complain about though is that I would usually forget about the dishes which I would use to hold the food I bring. This is why before I even leave my house I would write under the baking dish so I would not have a hard time finding what is mine. I tend to be very careful with the things I own, especially since I love to cook and bake. This is the best way for a hassle free party.

Every morning I would need to wake up earlier than my kids so I can prepare their lunch for school and cook breakfast for them as well. As a concerned mother I would need to take good care of my children and avoid them from having to eat junk food outside. This is my way of showing them how much I love them, because I work best in the kitchen.

Before I even get my day started I would usually brew some beans from my coffeemaker before I head upstairs to fix my husband’s clothes. As soon as I am done, I will go back downstairs and fill one of our Polish stoneware mugs with my caffeine drink so I can fully wake up and get energized. I never go without my coffee in the morning; otherwise I would not be able to do anything at all at such early time of hour.

Breaking A Sweat

On full days when I would need to handle a lot of client calls in the office, I would often end up very tired and all sweaty after running from one place to another. There are instances when I would need to stop and take a breather in between presentations. I would usually head out to a coffee shop for my flavored coffee iced drink.

Nothing beats an iced cold drink on a hot day. I also need some caffeine on my system so I can go through my day feeling energized and hyped up. This way I can go through many client presentations without breaking a sweat. An energized system helps me to achieve my targets on an annual basis. More closed deals equate to more income for the family.

When we bake in the kitchen, one of the most frustrating things is when we have perfectly cooked our baked goodies and we have trouble getting them out of baking molds. We would usually have to fight it out, and would end up having to ruin the food. We either break it apart or end up with cracks on our baked items. It can be annoying when we have worked so hard in the kitchen only to serve unpleasant looking goodies to our families.

This is why it is important to take particular attention to the utensils and equipment we make use in the kitchen. One must invest in good quality supplies and accessories which would provide us the convenience of baking without any hassles. This way, everything that comes out of our kitchens look absolutely great without having to make a mess of things.

As a mother of four kids, I needed to be a full time mother to better take care of them and guide them well. There are many chores and tasks which needed to be done in the house on a daily basis, and being an at home mother is much more stressful than simply being a career woman. It requires you to be on the job 24 hours a day, and there are no breaks and time outs as a mother. This is the reason why mothers like us must always find ways on how to make things life much easier.

One of the things I would need to do is to work for hours in the kitchen. I would often need to wash loads of dishes or prep the ingredients I would use for cooking. It can be quite straining on my legs and back whenever I have to work for extended periods. This is why I make use of padded kitchen mat to help me relieve my strain and fatigue while I work. It also helps me prevent from slipping and sliding when pools of

water are left on the kitchen floor.

But these can be really bulky to carry around especially when men would have to bring them along for a date at the park. During the holiday season, we would usually host or attend parties which may last for hours or even all night. One thing that would never be absent during these parties are cocktails and drinks. There is nothing like these beverages to liven up the party and cheer up the spirit of party attendees. Drinks are always a requirement be it an intimate dinner or an extravagant festivity for the company.

Every time I get to come home to my parent’s house in Texas, I would immediately ask my father to get me one of his best recipe ribs. I have grown having to savor these wonderful meats almost each week. This is the reason why I have grown quite big over the years. Who can resist something as good as this.

Since I can’t seem to find any barbecue place in California which can pass my standards, I would have to wait to get home in order to have my fill of barbecue. I would have to wait for hours though, as my father would never let me touch any of it, until it has been inside the Prago smoker for the desired number of hours according to his recipe. He never compromises on the cooking time, which is probably why the flavor is definitely beyond compare when it comes to my father’s ribs.
